Josh & Alanna Lund
Josh was born and raised in Williamsburg, VA. He received his degree in Electrical Engineering from Old Dominion University, where he was converted to Christ as a freshman. Upon completing his degree, Josh served in the campus ministry in Hampton Roads, VA. Josh enjoys carpentry work and playing basketball.
Alanna was born in Kingston, Jamaica and raised in Maryland. She was converted to Christ at 15 in the Montgomery County Church of Christ. Alanna received her degree in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise from Virginia Tech. Directly after graduating, she served in the full-time ministry in Hampton Roads, VA for 3 years. Alanna enjoys calligraphy, anything outdoors and watching action shows!
Josh and Alanna were married in February 2015 and moved four months later to lead the Roanoke Valley Campus ministry. They have a huge heart for the campus ministry!
Stephen and Roxanne Little
Stephen was born in Oklahoma and raised just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida with studies in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences. Stephen loves to be outdoors, and especially enjoys playing flag football and ultimate Frisbee.
Roxanne was born in New York and raised in South Florida. She received her bachelor’s degree at the University of Florida as well, and also has a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Roxanne likes going for walks, hanging out with friends, knitting and crocheting, and watching crime shows!
Both Stephen and Roxanne were converted to Christ while they were college students. They were married in 2009 and served for three years in the campus ministry for the Atlanta Church of Christ in Gwinnett.
Jack and Cathy Rosenquist
Jack and Cathy Rosenquist moved to Northern Virginia from Texas in June, 2000. Jack serves as an elder, they help lead the Good Enough Parenting training classes and also serve as house church leaders. They have 2 children: Amy (at ODU in Norfolk) and James who lives in Pittsburgh with his wife Elaina. Jack and Cathy have enjoyed volunteering with Camp Hope for Kids for the past 14 years and have also served with the Preteen and Teen Ministries at NVCOC. Jack owns and operates SRS Financial Group and Cathy is a Christian Life Coach.
Aaron & Ayesha Jackson
Ayesha was raised in Arlington, VA, while Aaron Michael was raised in Owensboro, KY. They were both converted at George Mason University in 2001, March and October respectively.
They are also graduates from George Mason University. Ayesha with an Integrative Studies degree with a Dance minor; Aaron with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a Religious Studies minor.
They have been married since August 2006 and have two daughters, Hannah and Sadie.
Brian and Caryn Homet
Brian grew up in Bethesda, Maryland and graduated from the University of Virginia. He was baptized in Paris in 1988. Caryn grew up in New York and was baptized in 1984. She graduated from Boston University in 1989. They were married in 1991 and have three daughters: Sarah, Jessica and Caitlyn.
The Homets served as campus and sector leaders in the Boston church before leading the church planting to Bucharest, Romania in 1994. They have also led ministries in Budapest, Hungary, Virginia, and Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Before their return to the full-time ministry, Brian worked as a project and program manager for the Federal Government and in the private sector. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has an MS in Organization Development from George Mason University. Caryn worked as a pre-school teacher and music educator.
Frederic and Mary Bea Bouchet
Frederic grew up in France and met his wife Mary Bea in graduate school at Virginia Tech. He has been married since 1984 and has 3 daughters that are disciples. He was baptized in Paris in 1989 and has been a member here at NVCOC since 2005. In the Paris church, he served as a bible talk leader, a children’s ministry teacher, and was also a board member from 1992 - 1994. He also served as a board member of HOPE worldwide France from 1998 - 2003. Currently, at NVCOC, he serves as an elder and a family group leader.
Frederic is currently an Associate Professor at American Public University System. From 1993 - 2003, he served as the lead administrator for the Paris Church of Christ.
Tom and Lori Ziegler
Tom and Lori Ziegler have lived in Northern Virginia since August, 2003. Tom serves as an elder with the congregation. They have 2 children, Nicholas and Kati. Before moving to Northern Virginia, Tom and Lori lived in Nairobi, Kenya and Johannesburg, South Africa. Tom worked for 11 years as the financial administrator overseeing ICOC churches in sub-Saharan Africa. Lori was the Children's Ministry co-ordinator for the same churches during that time. They now own and operate Medicap Compounding Pharmacy in Ashburn, Virginia.
Randy and Kay McKean
Randy McKean became a disciple on September 24, 1973 as a freshman at the University of Florida. At graduation he married Kay Summers and together they entered the full time ministry. They have more than 30 years of ministry experience serving in such cities as Columbia, Boston, Munich, and Paris. A dynamic speaker, Randy has served as a campus minister, overseas missionary, missions evangelist and is presently an elder and the lead evangelist for the Northern Virginia Church of Christ. He has spoken in over 40 countries around the world helping to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. Kay has written two books: Our Beginning and Love Your Husband and has contributed to other publications as well. Married for 36 years, Randy and Kay have two grown children and four grandchildren and have taught marriage and parenting classes worldwide.
Charlie & Meekyoung Yi
Since becoming Christians in 1988 and 1987, Charlie and Meekyoung Yi have served churches in Paris, NY, SF, OH, Tokyo, Seoul, and Manila. The Yis have been members of the Northern Virginia Church of Christ since 2003 and Charlie serves as one of the elders. Meekyoung is a college professor and has taught in NY and VA. Charlie works for the US Department of Education and has a Master’s Degree from Georgetown University. Charlie and Meekyoung’s son Brandon is in the full-time ministry with the Potomac Valley Church, and their daughter Heather is a disciple with the Radford campus ministry while Ashley is a disciple in the NOVA teen ministry.
